Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University, M.A. in Educational Leadership from the University of Phoenix, B.S. in Secondary Education Mathematics from UT Martin
I am beginning my fifth year of teaching at UT Martin in the Department of Educational Studies where I teach mathematics methods and assessment courses. Prior to that I spent six years in public school administration at both the campus and district levels after a six-year teaching career. My future plans are to continue to shape our future educators by continuing to research best practices as well as work with local education agencies to support current teachers. Additionally, I am the director of a $3.3 million dollar grant awarded to UT Martin through the US Department of Education, which allows me multiple opportunities to work with practicing educators and provide much-needed resources.
