Spelling Pattern Center Activities
This Teacher Resource Guide accompanies the Fourth and Fifth Grade (4-5) Student Center Activities developed by the Florida Center for Reading Research and funded by Just Read, Florida!. It is designed to assist teachers in differentiating instruction by using independent student center activities that support skill practice in various spelling patterns.
This document contains ready-to-print learning centers, workstations, or student practice games. Several activities are included that provide skill practice for homophones, diphthongs, consonant sound variants, long-vowels in multisyllabic words, and r-controlled vowel sounds. Each activity provides student objectives, needed materials, and step-by-step student instructions. Just print, laminate, cut and learn!
