COVID-19 has many educators feeling unsupported, frustrated, and isolated. As a resource hub, the Adult Literacy team at the Nashville Public Library decided to take a three-pronged approach to build instructor confidence and community during isolation. These approaches, consisting of synchronous, asynchronous, and individual support, work together to help teachers to feel more prepared for the digital classroom and more connected to other instructors jumping the same hurdles. But these models aren’t just for adult classrooms. We believe that this multi-faceted support approach can be useful in any educational setting.
