Lipscomb Academy
Drew McConnell is passionate about helping students become lifelong, self-directed learners and helping teachers create learning environments to cultivate such learners. With a background in Computer Science and Educational Technology, he has worked as an instructional designer, worked with schools to adopt project-based learning practices, and taught students ranging from middle school students to adult learners. He is currently the Innovative Technology teacher at Lipscomb Academy in Nashville, TN, where he teaches Programming and Design courses and helps teachers adopt design-thinking and inquiry-based practices.
