Build Your Own Toolbox for Tech Coaching

Date / time:
Thursday, November 30, 2017 - 10:00am (1 hour)
Location:
Broadlands B

Over the past several years, Tech Coaches have become more common inside classrooms and schools. The reality is, however, that many educators end up supporting their colleagues with the effective use of technology whether or not they have the title of “Tech Coach.” What tools can support best practice with tech coaching? This session will consider research that identifies the formats for professional learning that make the biggest impact on teachers’ capacity for integrating technology. Participants will walk away with a list of tools aligned with the ISTE Standards for Coaches that can be considered while building a toolbox for tech coaching.
