Writing an Argument
The following web article addresses writing an argument combined with avoiding logical fallacies. It also provides smaller writing exercises in which students must evaluate several statements including logical fallacies. What is effective about this particular site is that it tackles both the writing of argument and the evaluating of fallacies. This could be used in a larger unit on writing, for a particular lesson on argument, or as an opening warm-up for class.
