Wind, Where Does It Come From
This website answers several questions about the wind. The large print and colorful pictures have animated links that students can click on to explore the effects of temperature on wind formation. This site directly addresses how heat energy from the sun creates wind. Students could go through this website on their own as a webquest-type activity or the whole lesson could be conducted by the teacher in a powerpoint format.
