Parts of the Food Chain (Producers, Consumers...)
This is a brief description of the parts of a food chain using student-friendly language and graphics. In the Producers, Consumers, and Decomposers Game students match pictures to the appropriate label. It is self-correcting and students are shown their progress and have an option to review before moving to more matching. Students examine the roles of producers, consumers, and decomposers by reading information on several screens and then matching pictures to the role in the food chain during a game. The pictures are drawn instead of actual photos and students are shown their progress and have an option to review before moving to more matching. This would be a great site for independent student exploration.
