College-Access Webinars
There is growing focus on helping adult learners begin or return to college in Tennessee as part of Governor Haslam’s Drive to 55; yet, adult learners approach postsecondary education differently than traditional students do. The professionals who help adults begin or return to college cannot simply rely on traditional college and career search methods to best serve the unique needs of adult learners. This free webinar will provide an introduction to best practices for working with adult learners that are based in research on human development, motivation, and research on adults who plan to return to school. Participants will learn strategies that can be used to help adult learners identify and reach their own educational and career goals.
