In today’s economy, a post-secondary credential is in greater demand than ever before. By 2020, 65 percent of U.S. jobs will require some form of post-secondary education, but only 39 percent of U.S. working-age adults hold a post-secondary credential as of 2012. Unfortunately, confusion over the college admissions process keeps many qualified students from attending a good-fit college, and the admissions process increasingly requires a savvy strategy to ensure that students have the best options available. Learn about strategies that school counselors and college access practitioners who are assisting students use to demystify college applications and help students stay organized during the process.
