Kindergarten Measurement
This website offers teachers techniques and ideas to teach each area of measurement. The activities range from area of leaves to using unifix cubes to measure objects.
When teaching measurement to young children it is necessary to provide lots of opportunities for the students to order objects by size and use everyday activities and real objects to help children understand measurement concepts. This website offers suggestions for teachers to do just that.
