Precipitation Type Applet
An animation that allows students (or teacher if done as a demonstration) to change the temperature and dew point to see how they affect precipitation.
By manipulating the temperature and dew points, you can have rain at upper altitudes, next snow, and rain again by the time precipitation falls to the ground. Interesting method to show importance of dew point as well as temperature.
