Brainstorming Made Easy
Bubbl.us is a simple and free web application that lets you brainstorm online. You can use this resource to create visual displays of thinking and ideas and export them into PowerPoint, another website, or you can print them. Once you fill in your bubbles, you have the option to customize the color palette. On the website, click "Start Brainstorming." You will then be shown a screen with one "Parent" bubble, which is the beginning of your mind map. Once you type in your first idea, directions will pop up on the screen to show you how to add "Child" bubbles and to further customize. You do not have to create an account to use this site, but accounts are free and will allow you to save your work.
