Photo Activity for Symmetry
This is an enrichment activity, yet is would be an excellent part of a lesson plan on symmetry. It is a great activity to get students interested in symmetry by using photos of them. It requires a digital camara and a computer with Paint Shop Pro, Adobe Photoshop, or a like program. Students "give" themselves line symmetry with interesting results.
Students will identify and describe the major concepts of symmetry.
