Professor Garfield's Comics Lab
This is a fun, interactive website that allows students to create their own comic strips or comic books. The site even includes mini lessons in idea generating, character creation, etc. Videos from writers and artists are also included. The Teacher's Lounge feature provides lesson ideas for educators to use this site in their classroom instruction.
Garfield is a lovable, well-known character that grabs kids' attention. This website uses that character to teach students some very basic writing skills.
