Moon Phases
This is a simple explanation for younger students to learn about the moon phases, why they occur, and how long they last. Teachers can print the picture for the students to use in class or to take home as a study guide.
I have used this resource in class to help students and their parents understand the phases in the moon. Some students may be confused when the moon does not look like out text book pictures but this site does a good job of explaining the phases in easy to read format. This site has a wonderful vocabulary built in so that students understand when they see these terms on an assessment.
