Concave Mirrors
This is an interactive simulation using a concave mirror which shows the relationship between the distance of an object and its reflected image.  Students can also vary the focal point of the concave mirror and observe how the image changes. Students can then graph the relationship between object and image distances and analyze the equation.
This resource addresses the Physics Optics CLE by allowing students to investigate optical phenomena for concave mirrors both mathematically and visually. Focal length, object and image distance, and object and image height are all shown clearly, and the students can use their graphing skills to investigate the relationship between these variables.
