This is a packed site full of information that is kid friendly. There are many hands-on activities for the students and informational texts for great learning experiences. There is a quiz built into the site to check on student learning.
This site is a great resource with simple experiments that uses recycled or house hold items and tools that are found in most classrooms. Students will learn about what makes up the soil as well as what lives in the soil. Students can make predictions and plan their investigations. Students can plot or graph the data from their experiments and post the results from the experiments. There is a great amount of printable items and quizzes for the students to participate. There are NO games on this site.
