Animal and Plant Adaptations
This website from the BBC contains many articles and videos to demonstrate a wide variety of adaptations made by plants and animals to cold, heat, drought, and many others.
These resources could be used by students for independent research before or after a lesson on the above GLE. Students could then present their findings in a variety of ways: powerpoint, poster, diorama, etc. Note: The vocabulary in the articles is a bit advanced.
