Solving Word Problems using Integers
This is a great link to ready made word problems involving integers. Students can use this site to practice at home or in the classroom. Students must be familiar and understand the rules for each operation of integers. However, when I teach solving word problems using integers, my students are allowed to use a calculator. The objective is for students to understand and be able to solve word problems using integers and this link to mathgoodies. com provides great practice for students to master this skill.
This resource addresses the learning expectation by providing great examples for solving integers in the real word. Also, this site is interactive and students can practice and then have an explanation of the skill.
