Dan's Wild Wild Weather Page
This is an excellent, comprehensive site to use to develop a unit on weather. It includes easily understandable readings about weather conditions, patterns, and instruments, colorful pictures and illustrations, and links to different activities.Â
This site is especially appropriate for the development of integrated STEM lessons/units. It is conducive to integrating the inquiry and technology and engineering standards. Math can be integrated as students read weather instruments and read and develop weather related graphs. Students can be engineers as they make different weather instruments. Technology is used as students research on line for information and use weather instruments.
