Conductors and Insulators
Teachers can use this site as they prepare to teach about conductors and contrast conductors with insulators. The site also contains links to additional information about electricity.
After reading this short informative article, teachers will be able to contrast characteristics of conductors and insulators, including how the flow of electrons determine if the material is a conductor or insulator. They will be able to list examples of each and provide an explanation about the importance of insulators in protection from electrical problems.
