A Dickens of a Party: Web Quest
This website features a web quest asking students to take on various roles to research aspects of the Victorian Era. Research will be completed on attire, social aspects, and London during this era. Students should read A Christmas Carol to help in their understanding of the project.
The web quest requires students to research the Victorian Era. They must gather information from electronic sources and combine their findings as a group. Each member of the group will have an individual role. The culminating point of this project asks students to analyze their research and write a first person point of view paper on Scrooge attending a social gathering to celebrate his new "gift of Christmas."
