The Food Chains Card Game
This link provides all you need to assess your students understanding of food webs and chains of various ecosystems. The cards are full color pictures of the various organisms and rules are provided.
This game has many variations. It could be used as any of the three forms of assessment or as a lesson. A teacher could incorporate a ball of yarn with the cards and begin to "link" the pictures together instead of playing them as a card game, so as to involve a larger group of students.
