Plant and Animal Habitats
This on-line reading selection explains in age appropriate language how plants and animals can only survive in habitats to which they are adapted. There is also an on-line quiz. The interactive game is not recommended because it features fictional creatures and fictional habitats.
The reading selection directly addresses the GLE cited above. There is also an on-line quiz students can take. When they check their score, they see explanations with each answer, whether correct or incorrect.
