Energy Skate Park
This is an interactive simulation of a skateboarder at a skate park showing the kinetic and potential energy as the skater travels up and down a skate ramp. The student can build a tracks and ramps and observe the changes in energy as well as friction. This site also provides a teacher instructional guide.
This resource allows students to design a skate park to illustrate the difference between potential and kinetic energy.
