This complete teacher's guide, produced by the National Renewal Energy Laboratory, includes teacher background material related to energy as well as lesson plans. Several classroom activities, with templates, are included.
Activity 1, Sunbeams, specifically relates to the GLE noted below, but other activities in the guide can also be used to further explore the topic of energy ultimately coming from the sun, and the need to use energy resources wisely.Assessment rubric is weak; most K-2 teachers can improve on this!
