This interactive activity has two activities. For this grade level, one would be a review of living and non-living while the other activity allows students to build a pond and a woodland food chain. It has a reading aloud option for struggling readers.
This interactive activity can be used to review and assess students earlier learning about living and non-living things before practicing building a pond and woodland food chains. Additional activities can be included to help deepen understanding and to address learning needs by having students illustrate and/or explain the different food chains. The reading aloud option differentiates for struggling learners.
