Childrens' Misconceptions About Science
A list compiled by the Operation Physics elementary/middle school physics education outreach project of the American Institute of Physics. The list is organized into categories; of relevance are Color and Vision, Electricity, Energy, Forces and Motion, Forces and Fluids, Heat and Temperature, Light, Magnets and Magnetism, Measurement, Sound, Space, and Work and Power.
Teachers informed of common misconceptions students experience with physics are better able to design instruction to address them.
