Periodic Table of the Elements
This resource contains an “active” periodic table and upon “clicking on” a specific element, the physical properties and uses of the elements are presented. In addition, the history and organization of the periodic table is described. There are also mini-quizzes available for the student to practice.
Excellent resource that provides a wealth of information on individual elements. The resource also discusses the organization of the periodic table into families and groups as well as other subdivisions such as metal and non-metals. There are a number of links within the resource to acquire further information on the history or organization of the periodic table as well as quizzes the student can take.
