Models of the Hydrogen Atom
This virtual lab allows you to simulate experiments that were performed to determine the structure of the hydrogen atom.
Very good virtual lab that allows the user to visualize the different models of the hydrogen atom ranging from the billiard ball model to Schrodingeru2019s electron cloud model. The lab explains what experimental prediction each model makes, why people believed each model and why each historical model was inadequate. The lab also explains relationship between the physical picture of the orbits and the energy level diagram of an electron.
