This site, maintained by CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research) near Geneva, Switzerland, provides teacher programs and resources in the area of atomic and nuclear physics.
CERN is a nuclear research facility that investigates the fundamental properties of the atom, and is engaged in research that is inherently quantum mechanical. This site provides a variety of educational materials at a fairly elementary level that can be adapted for use in a high school classroom.
