Magnetism and Magnetic Induction for Students
Sponsored by the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory at Florida State University, this site provides interactive tutorials for students in the area of electromagnetism. It also provides information about possible internships at the magnet lab at FSU.
Learning about magnetic fields, the relationship between current and magnetism, and the various aspects of magnetic induction are challenging for most high school students. The interactive tutorials help students visualize the relationship between electricity and magnetism. Possible internship opportunities at Florida State University in the high field magnet lab are listed on this site, although some may be limited to Tallahassee area students.
