Syllables Center Activities
This Teacher Resource Guide accompanies the Fourth and Fifth Grade (4-5) Student Center Activities developed by the Florida Center for Reading Research and funded by Just Read, Florida!. It is designed to assist teachers in differentiating instruction by using independent student center activities that support skill building in segmenting syllables in words.
This document contains ready-to-print learning centers, workstations, or student practice games. Several activities are included to help students with syllable segmenting skills. Each activity provides student objectives, needed materials, and step-by-step student instructions. Just print, laminate, cut and learn!
