Combining Sentences with Cause and Effect Relationships
This is an interactive website where a student can take two simple sentences and combine together with a cause and effect transition word. It touches on cause and effect, so the student understands the connection between the two sentences. It also reinforces how to combine sentences into compound and complex sentences correctly.

The website checks for spelling and grammar and could be frustrating to students without the prior knowledge. The site has cause ad effect sentence exercises along with paragraph exercises. Could use as individual practice in a computer lab or whole class instruction on an interactive whiteboard or projector.
