Living Vs. Non-living Book
This short book is written by a kindergarten class explaining the difference between living and non-living things. This book explains the characteristics of living things. It also gives some great pictures of living and non-living things.
This would be a great book to use for an introductory lesson for living and non-living things. After you read the book you could let your students go outside and classify things into the categories living or non-living. This book could also be used as an intervention for a student that is struggling with this concept.
