Dante's Inferno: A Virtual Tour
This interactive website utilizes an interesting combination of graphics and descriptions to provide users with a virtual tour of Dante's hell. After a suspenseful opening, visitors to the site can choose any of the nine levels to visit individually or go through all of them.
When teaching the epic with Dante's Inferno, teachers can use this site to represent visually what is being described in the story. The site is captivating and user friendly, and it gives users the option of taking the journey in a linear fashion or jumping to any of the levels.
