Word Girl Synonym Toast Game
This is a enrichment activity for students figuring out the synonym to the given word. The vocabulary used is on grade level or above. It will get the students thinking about new words.
CU 0701.1.14 SPI 0701.1.20 This can be used as student practice, differentiation, or enrichment. The vocabulary is challenging, and a lesson may be needed after with words that the students didnu2019t recognize. A quiz over the words could also be self-created to emphasize the words. This could also be used to show students how to chose the best word for the context of what they are writing.
