Desert Animal Survival
This site has wonderful pictures of desert animals and background information for teachers to use when teaching about animals that live in the desert and how they adapt to the heat, get water and food to survive.
Teachers will find lots of information about the animals that live in the desert and how they must adapt to the extreme changes of the environment. Great background information for teachers. I would also show the pictures to students and let them figure out how animals adapt to their habitats.
