Reading for main idea and details in Science
This interactive website takes a student through several science based informational texts and helps them figure out the main idea and important details. It gives immediate feedback on whether or not the student is correct along with an explanation.
Science connection to the body
SPI & CU 0701.6.2 This activity would be a supplement to students after a lesson on main idea has been performed. This could be done in a computer lab at the students own pace, differentiation, or group/partner work.
