Read Write Think Printing Press
Students can use this interactive tool to create a newspaper, brochure, booklet, or flyer.The tool is linked to several lesson plans for teaching informational writing.
This resource provides an opportunity to emphasize structures and features specific to nonfiction text, as students create and print their informational pieces. (Pieces cannot be saved or published online.) A planning sheet showing the available layouts is included in the lesson plan, so that students can work on their pieces before sitting down at the computer.
