How To Teach Algorithms At Elementary Level

Teaching algorithms to elementary school-level children has proved to be most successful when the students can visualize and interact with an algorithmic process rather than learning specific algorithms. Teach algorithmic thinking to elementary school-level children by designing a group activity that requires students to creatively solve a problem by designing executable instructions and assessing their success.

This helps teachers explain algorithms. Teachers can take the ideas given and create lessons that are appropiate for their grade level.
