Molecules Collide
For molecules to react, they need to collide with enough energy. The activity demonstrates that bonds break when enough energy is added, the bonds can break and new bonds can form in a chemical reaction.
All handouts and assessments are provided. Follows the 5E Learning Cycle. The Chemistry Comes Alive website,http://www.jce.divched.org/JCESoft/CCA/samples/cca4Na_Acid.html, provides randomly selected videos that supply visual aids that demonstrate chemical reactions.
