Mineral Properties

Introduce your students to a lab that evaluates students' understanding of mineral properties, including luster, hardness, color, and breakage pattern. Students are asked to use their observations of these properties to make recommendations for a construction site. Materials list, set-up instructions, and evaluation guide are included.
