Persuasion Map
This web-based template allows students to brainstorm a persuasive topic. It describes each step as students organize their idea and thoughts. The format allows students to focus on one step at a time: introduction/ thesis, 3 main reasons, facts and examples, and conclusion.
This template can be printed or used online. The online version is helpful because it zooms in to focus as you progress through the organizer. This could be used for a small group or whole group in a computer lab. When finished students can print, share, or save. Note: The vocabulary needs to be broken down by the instructor. Kids will need modeling and prompts to successfully move through the process.
