Biomes Video
This video covers the six major biomes. Key concepts are introduced prior to students viewing. After viewing video students can take the interactive quiz where they are required to score 80%. If a student scores below that, he/she is prompted to review the video and try the quiz again.The interaction of this media allows students engagement in learning about biomes and their characteristics.
This video is extremely informative with great graphics. The video compares and contrasts the biomes and provides explanations. The assessment is a quiz which can be used as a group activity or individually. This website, Kids Know, provides free educational videos for classroom use.
