Interpreting Remainders Practice
This is a website that presents the students with a series of 10 word problems that must be solved using long division with two-digit divisors in which remainders must be considered as part of the solution. If the student answers incorrectly, an explanation of how to solve the problem is given. At the end of 10 problems, the student is given a score of his or her results.
This activity can also be used as an instructional strategy with whole group or individual instruction.
