Life Processes
This PowerPoint, provided by PPPST, provides the seven processes all living things require in order to be considered living. This PowerPoint highlights all seven processes as vocabulary words in green with visual representations. Illustrations and wording are geared for middle school students.
This PowerPoint will be useful as a follow up after students determine the necessary requirements for living structures or as an opener. At the end of the PowerPoint, a mnemonic device is used as a tool for students to remember the seven processes. Teachers may want to use the mnemonic as a formative assessment (ticket out the door) at the end of class.
