Fun with Rotations

In this lesson, students will use their math knowledge to move a fixed object around a point. This is a great way to get the kids involved in the learning process.

  • Graphing paper, one for every student 
  • pencils, one for every student 
  • Maple, mathematics computer program that visual shows (in 3-D or 2-D) what it looks like for an object to rotate around the axis or a fixed point.
