Gathering, Recording, and Presenting Data

This lesson discusses the ways students can gather information (surveys, interviews, questionaires, and researching documents). Students evaluate the effectiveness of how they record and present that information.  Then, students gather information on their own chosen topic and use Excel to compile the data. Students then present findings to the class. The link to the assessment is not correct and links to the sample; teacher will need to create an assessment tool. This lesson can be used in a larger unit on research in which students research using multiple resources in addition to their own research they gathered in this lesson.
